The company behind the famed Playboy brand has snapped up Australian lingerie label Honey Birdette for a whopping $443million. PLBY Group announced overnight they had bought the risqué brand founded in Brisbane in 2006 by Eloise Monaghan which sells lingerie and sex toys.
Playboy’s parent company, PLBY Group, Inc. overnight announced it had entered into a “definitive agreement” to acquire Honey Birdette, which began in Brisbane 15 years ago and now has 60 boutiques in three countries.
The Honey Birdette brand is offering an "orgasm guarantee" certificate for the top-of-the-line Venus vibrator to mark the date celebration on July 31st. For two weeks from that date, customers will be able to try the toy, and if they are not satisfied, they will be able to return it for a refund or exchange.
